We, the North Carolina Public Service Workers Union, United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America, UE Local 150, realize that the struggle to better our working and living conditions requires our unity as workers in collectively protecting ourselves against the organized forces of the employers. Realizing that the strategy of the employers is to divide and conquer, we form an organization which unites all workers in our industry/sector on the basis of rank-and-file control regardless of craft, race, gender, age, nationality, sexual orientation, language, religion or political belief and pursue at all times a policy of aggressive struggle to improve our conditions on the job and throughout society.
